Day 1 - Arrive in Cochin International Airport / Ernakulum Railway Station. You are greeted on arrival at the Kochi international airport /railway station and transfer to the Hotel. All based on your arrival times, because if you reach before 2PM we may go directly to Munnar.
Day 2: - Munnar The Journey to Munnar will be one of the unforgettable thing in your mind, because driving in to this s small hill top town which is famous for its picture book towns, mist clad hills, sprawling tea gardens and sanctuaries. This serene hill station is bestowed with diverse landscapes marked by enchanting waterfalls, gushing streams, rich biodiversity and lush greenery and above all the climate is one of the most sought after tourist destination in India. Today we proceed to Rajamala, part of Eravikulam National Park which is the home for the highly endangered Nilgiri Thar. We will visit Mattupetty Dam were you can enjoy boating through the reservoir flanked with tea garden on one side and never ending Grass land on the other. Your last halt is Top Station which offers breath taking views of Munnar valley and on a clear day and if your eyes are sharp enough you will have wonderful view from the Very Top.
Day 3: Idukki - After early breakfast check out and proceed to Thekkady via idukki. While we drive through hills and its narrow roads we may even face to face with small friendly wild animals and water walls. Idukki Arch Dam is constructed on River Periyar, between two granite mountains, Kuravathimala and Kuravanmala. It is over 168 metres tall, 365 metres in length on the top, over 7 metres wide on the top and about 20 metres wide in the bottom. A thrilling boat ride sailing through the dam reservoir is a must for tourists visiting the dam. The ride begins at Kulamuva Dam and covers the entire reservoir before it ends at the Cheruthoni dam. Each ride is about 3 hours which is enough time to absorb the natural beauty of the surroundings. You can spot various species of birds and animals like deer, elephants and bison at the shore or watch the sunsets as you silently sail through the tranquil waters
Day 4: Thekkady. Today all about the famous Thekkady for its natural reserves and spice plantations. The Periyar National Park is spread over 257 square miles and the rivers Pamba and Periyar flow through. It is one of the most bio-diverse regions in the world and the best-protected reserve area that one can lay eyes on in India. Famous for its gorgeousness, greenery and stillness, these rivers help the plants and animals to nurture and flourish. The region is an abode to varied animal species, including tiger, elephants, spotted deer, langur, sambar and wild boar. A tour of Kerala is incomplete without visiting this place that offers ample opportunities for leisure activities like a boat ride on the Periyar Lake, excursion to Periyar National Park and visit to spice plantations.
Day 5 - Alleppey also referred to as Alappuzha, is among the oldest planned towns in the region. Famous for houseboat cruise, boat races, clear beaches and marine products, this place is a world-famous backwater holiday destination. Some of the most popular tourist attractions of this serene land are the Alappuzha Beach. After all the fun and entertainment today we will drop you at airport / railway station for your home journey.
